Veteran Actor Anupam Kher’s directorial venture, Tanvi the Great is reaching its great milestone. The film is to be having its world premiere at Cannes International Film Festival on the May 13th 2025.


In a video the actor humbly expressed his gratitude and support that he has received from India and that he is leaving with a heavy heart at such a sensitive time with the growing tensions between India and Pakistan. He was emotional when he said Bharat and I have grown up like siblings.


Talking about his humble beginnings,  the actor said he is only eight years younger than Bharat, The Swatantra Bharat is on August 15th 1947 and he was born on March 7th 1955.  He went on to say he came to the city with just Rs, 37 in his pocket and he completed 545 films till  date.   That he did work very hard to gain what he has today, a car, a bungalow but above all this is his mother’s blessings. But it was this land that made his dreams possible. 


The actor ended his video by  saying , India is an incredible country . ‘Tiranga Bharat Mata Ki Jai’  is not just for our  soldiers but also for us citizens. Anupam went on to say, we lost our brave soldiers and our own pain or sorrows seems small when we think of the families of these soldiers.


He admitted as we age do we get more emotional but one fan responded with tears commenting ‘I love you India n  armed forces… Bharat Mata Ki Jai.  Another fan responded saying we are all feeling heavy in our heart but listening to you we are feeling better.
