Anupam Kher’s upcoming directorial venture, Tanvi The Great, is winning hearts around the globe following its recent premieres.
The film, which tells the story of a young autistic girl fulfilling her late father’s dream, had its North American premiere at the New York Indian Film Festival to an overwhelmingly positive response.

Kher, deeply moved by the reaction, stated, This is a film from India, for the world, emphasizing its emotional and universal appeal.
The film earlier premiered at the Cannes Marché du Film, where it received a standing ovation and left audiences in tears and laughter.

Kher Calls It a Global Tribute to Dreams
Marking his return to direction after 23 years, Kher also plays Col. Pratap Raina in the film. It introduces Shubhangi Dutt in the lead role and features an ensemble cast including Iain Glen, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, and Pallavi Joshi. The music is composed by Oscar-winning maestro M. M. Keeravani.
Following successful premieres in Cannes, London, New York, and Los Angeles, Tanvi The Great is set for a theatrical release in India on July 18.
