Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is returning to the big screen post becoming a mother in the upcoming sports drama Chakda Xpress. The actress will be essaying the role of Jhulan Goswami in this biopic. The Zero actress took to her social media page to share a video of what went into her cricket training for the film. She captioned the video, “Get-Sweat-Go! #ChakdaXpress #prep getting hard and intense as we are counting days.”

 

Chakda Xpress is directed by Prosit Roy and produced by Karnesh Sharma. Previously sharing the teaser of the film on social media, Anushka had written, “It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women's cricket.” The film will premiere on Netflix. As a producer, the actress has previously backed the Netflix film Bulbbul and Amazon Prime Video’s series Paatal Lok.
