Anushka Sharma to play a cricketer in her next, begins shoot

While her last film Zero might not have sent the cash registers ringing, actress Anushka Sharma is not one to give up on the versatile roles that come her way. The actress will soon be seen playing a cricketer named Jhulan Goswami in the latter’s biopic. The latter was the former Indian cricket captain. The Sui Dhaga actress recently shot for the film’s teaser in Eden Gardens. The pictures of her wearing the Indian team’s blue jersey has been shared on the net. The film is tentatively named Chakdah Express’ and is directed by Prosit Roy.
 

Anushka who loves to get into the skin of the character she plays, took tips for her role from Jhulan. They both reportedly have similar hairstyles and body structure. A formal announcement for the film is yet to be made by the makers.
