Netflix originally planned to release Chakda Xpress, but budget issues and creative differences with Clean Slate Filmz, led by Karnesh Sharma, caused delays. As a result, the team has shelved the movie and is now exploring alternative distribution options.

Despite the delays, Jhulan Goswami has denied rumours of the project being shelved, confirming it’s still in progress. Cast member Dibyendu Bhattacharya praised Anushka’s performance and expressed hope for the film’s release, emphasising its quality and the importance of sharing Goswami’s inspiring story.

With fans waiting with bated breath for developments, Chakda Xpress's fate is uncertain with no release date on the cards.
