A.R. Rahman Makes His Debut As Producer With ’99 Songs’

The Oscar-wining reclusive music director who is also busy giving his finishing touches to the Hindi anthem of Hollywood movie ‘Avengers: Endgame’ will produce his very first feature film this year. The movie will be a love story.
The OK Jaanu music director shared his ambitious announcement on Twitter saying, “I am very excited to announce the release of my first film as a producer and writer, 99 'songs', a young passionate love story, with music as its soul. My production company, YM movies, is thrilled to have Jio Studios as a partner on this really special venture,.”
99 Songs is scheduled to hit cinemas on June 21 this year and will be released in three languages namely; Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
