Arshad Warsi for the first time will be seen on the big screen in a double role in the upcoming film Jeevan Bheema Yojana. The film is a crime thriller directed by Abhishek Dogra and it promises a unique blend of humour, suspense, deception and will be a lot of emotional chaos. 


The film Jeevan Bheema Yojana features an impressive ensemble of star cast, which includes Sanjeeda Sheikh, Vijay Raaz, Pooja Chopra, Brijendra Kala alongside Arshad Warsi in the dual role.  Produced by Anshu Mishra for Star Beam Ventures Ltd which was formerly BlueGod Entertainment Ltd. The film is officially wrapped for its production and gearing for its theatrical release next year.

Arshad Warsi notable for his performances in films like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, Ishqiya and Jolly LLB, he plays the two look alike men whose lives collide in a dangerous course of events that are bizarre. The story revolved around a debt-ridden couple Jeevan and his wife Yojana who meet Bheema, a stranger who looks exactly like Jeevan. The story that starts with a clever insurance scam to fake Jeevan’s death soon highlights the deadly mess involving diamond smuggling and criminal conspiracies in which the innocent couple Jeevan and Yojana get trapped into.




Director Abhishek Dogra describes the narratives of the film as Ordinary people making a catastrophic decision. He further added that the film carries the tone of a dark comedy but it also has its emotional core which is deeply human. It explores greed, desperation, love and the how the consequences of lies is what goes out of control and keeps growing. 


Abhishek Dogra had earlier directed films like Dolly Ki Doli and FryDay. He is now going to showcase yet another quirky entertainer that will see Arshad Warsi in one of the most challenging roles in his filmy career.
