Badhaai Ho Wins National Film Award

The Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra starrer film Badhaai Ho has won the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at National Film Awards 2018. The film is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and was one of the highest-grossing movies last year. The family comedy also starred Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao who have won many accolades for their performances as the lead character’s parents.

 

The film also starrer veteran actress Surekha Sikri who played Ayushmann Khurrana’s grandmother and her brilliant performance won her the National Award for Best Supporting actress. Badhaai Ho is produced by Vineet Jain, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Aleya Sen, Hemant Bhandari and co-Produced by Priti Shahani. Ayushmann Khurrana who is basking in the glory of his last hit Article 15, will next be seen in Bala opposite Bhumi Pednekar.
