The Bengali film Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichhu Nei has made India proud by bagging two major awards at the 26th Rainbow International Film Festival in London.
Directed by Srijit Mukherjee, the psychological drama won Best Director for Mukherjee and Best Actor for Parambrata Chatterjee.
The film features an ensemble cast including Sauraseni Maitra, Anirban Chakraborty, Ananya Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Arjun Chakraborty, Kanchan Mullick, Ritwick Chakraborty, Kaushik Sen, Kaushik Ganguly, Souhardya Mukherjee, Falguni Chatterjee, and Rahul Banerjee.
A remake of the classic 12 Angry Men, this adaptation stands out due to its unique psychological twist. Kaushik Ganguly plays Brajeshwar Dutt, a lawyer grappling with conflicting thoughts surrounding a murder case. His mental state is portrayed through multiple characters, each representing a voice in his mind. Parambrata Chatterjee plays Satya, the embodiment of justice.
