Bollywood Actor Dino Morea Arrives At ED Office Amid Mithi River Desilting Case Investigation

Dino Morea arrives at ED again for questioning in the ₹65 crore Mithi River desilting money-laundering case amid scrutiny over financial links and frozen assets. Bollywood actor Dino Morea arrived at the ED office on 19 June, 2025, for questioning in the high-profile Mithi River desilting scam, involving alleged irregularities and laundering exceeding ₹65 crore.

Dino’s Involvement In Mithi River Desilting Scam

This is his third ED engagement, following a 12th June session and prior EOW summonses. Investigators are probing financial links between Morea, his father Santino, and Ketan Kadam, who allegedly diverted river remediation funds into shell corporations. In early June, ED raids at his Bandra residence froze Rs. 1.25 crore in assets and seized documents and devices.   

Sleuths are now aggressively tracking Dino’s bank accounts, including Rs 18 lakh transferred from Kadam. The agency wants to determine Morea’s role in routing misappropriated funds. He might be summoned again as investigations continue. The case has highlighted pervasive municipal and state corruption and environmental malfeasance in civil infrastructure projects.
