Paying a tribute to the Grandmaster of Martial Arts and Hollywood’s Action Hero,  Akshay Kumar shared an old photograph of Norris and wrote a caption, Growing up as a Martial Artist, watching Chuck Norris in Way of the Dragon. Saddened by the death of Chuck Norris, Akshay expressed  It was much more than just an entertainment.. It was education’ said the actor. 

‘The kind of discipline, strength and the effortless command he had on the screen has stayed with me’ said Akshay.  The Bollywood actor said he was grateful for the inspiration he derived from the Martial Artist that had shaped a part of him too. 

Akshay Kumar called him his Guiding Force and shared his sentiments that Chuck Norris had played a vital role in his journey .  The Bhooth Bangla star said that he was an Icon and instrumental in helping him set a benchmark in the film industry when it came to action.  

Not many actors do their own action scenes in the film industry but Akshay Kumar is one of them who has left everyone shocked with the kind of action he has performed in some of his film. He says Chuck Norri’s demise is very personal to him. 

Chuck Norris’s family confirmed his death on Thursday describing it as too sudden.  The family also expressed that they would like to keep the circumstances private and that his fans across the world should should know he was surrounded by his family and is at peace.   

Before Norris became an actor in the movies and on the television, he was a successful and a very competitive martial artist.  He had become an undefeated,  World Professional Middleweight Karate Champion. 

Before he would become a star in movies and on TV, Norris was wildly successful in competitive martial arts. He became a six-time undefeated World Professional Middleweight Karate champion. Later he acted in more than 20 films including the films such as Missing in Action, The Delta Force and Sidekicks.  His last appearance was in the science fiction action film, Agent Recon directed by Derek in 2024.
