“But I Learnt From You To Never Give Up...”- Taapsee Pannu On Chandro Dadi’s Demise

After the film Saandh Ki Aankh came out, people truly came to know the powerful and headstrong women called Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. Actresses Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar played their roles to the hilt and the film was a huge hit and an eye opener for many. Sadly Chandro Dadi/Shooter Dadi as she is fondly called, got infected with the corona virus. She was admitted to the hospital but succumbed to the virus and passed away in Meerut at the age of 89. The veteran complained of difficulty in breathing and died with covid complications. Fans and celebs were shocked to hear the devastating news. 

Both the lead actresses Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu wrote emotional posts on their social media pages following her demise. Taapsee wrote, “For the inspiration you will always be... You will live on forever in all the girls you gave hope to live. My cutest rockstar May the love and peace be with you.” Bhumi wrote, “You will be missed so much. Forever Chandro Tomar #ShooterDadi.” The Thappad actress also shared a picture with the veteran on Instagram and wrote, “But I learnt from you to never give up...Dadi will live on forever in the hearts of many girls like, who she was an inspiration to.”
