CineMaa – The Show Must Go On

CineMaa is the ‘ultimate hands-on manual of filmmaking,” gushed cineaste Paul Emanuel from France, as he opened the book “CineMaa” written by Lord Baden-Powell National Award 2020 winning filmmaker. Amit R Agarwal, also the U.N. Awardee for pionnering Cinema for Cause movement in India and Asia-Pacific.

Shweta Sharma, para-athlete, she won the Gold Medal for India at the recently concluded IWAS World Games was the chief guest. Shweta said that she is very impressed by the facts Agarwal had presented in CineMaa w.r,t. film, entertainment and fashion industry. She hoped that the percentage of people finding success or atleast creating their own niche will increase after they read cinema. Rekha Vohra, from Gem Mines and Rekha Vohraa Foundation was all appreciative of the book as she divulged more info on CineMaa, “the book will have its New York launch on 23rd February ’23.”

Agarwal said that just like a proverbial hero beat all odds onscreen, he fought ill-health of running high-fever and disorientation to launch the book. Launched on the Opening of the 8th Edition of #BNHAF Awards and Festival; published by VitalVishwa Publications, the publisher was ecstatic about the response the book garnered. “The book is available on Amazon and Flipkart, the resonse to the book has been fantastic.”

The event was held at Hipsters’ Café in Delhi-NCR, the owners Bhaskar and Satakshi said they really promote the art and culture in the area, as ‘the arts’ is very important to better the society for the future generations. Agarwal said that the book is about his journey into the industry and how he found his way out beating the current issues of nepotism, no-pays, competition and favoritism. He hoped that new entrants will find the book very handy in carving out their own niche in the industry..
