Comedian Actor Dinyar Contractor Passes Away At 79

Theatre, film actor and renowned comedian Dinyar Contractor passed away at the age of 79 in Mumbai early morning on Wednesday. He has not only featured in Bollywood movies but also in Gujarati cinema and theatre. The actor has done several popular TV shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Kichdi.
The veteran actor was awarded the Padma Shri in January 2019. He has entertained audiences with his comic timing in hit movies like Khiladi, Badshah, Baazigar and many more. Dinyar Contractor’s last rites will be performed today at 3:30 at Worli.
