According to sources, Arijit Singh has been involved in the shooting of a film in Shantiniketan for the past few months. On August 13, a shooting occurred in the Taltod area. A road was partially blocked for that. And this caused suffering for the locals.

Residents Under Pressure Due To The Blockage

Kamalakant Laha said that he was going towards Kopai for work via the road. First, the guards asked him to wait for five minutes. After he waited for some time, the guards asked for another 30 minutes. But Laha wanted to cross the road, as he had urgent work. Then a commotion broke out.

He alleged that the bodyguards prevented him from moving ahead, and as a result, his hand was injured. He even claimed that they tried to put him in a police van. Incidentally, he said that one of his gold rings was also lost. In such a situation, Laha claimed, "I am an artist myself. I did not expect such behavior from another artist."

The investigation Started Based On The Complaint Of The Resident

After the incident, Laha first lodged a verbal complaint at the Santiniketan police station and later filed a written complaint against Arijit Singh and his bodyguard. In this regard, the Superintendent of Police of Birbhum district said that their investigation has already started. He assured, 'Necessary action will be taken only after hearing the statements of both the parties.' There is no official response from Arijit Singh or his team yet.
