'Daughter Of The Nation' Title To Be Bestowed Upon Lata Mangeshkar

On 28th September 2019, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar will turn 90 and also be given a marvelous honor. She will be honored with the title of 'Daughter of the Nation' by our prime minister Narendra Modi’s government. The ever green singer with a spectacular voice will be bestowed with this title, for her outstanding contribution in Indian film music for more than seven decades.

 

Like millions of others, PM Modiji is a huge fan of Lata Mangeshkar’s voice and thought she needs to be recognized for her undisputed dedication to Indian cinema. Honoring her would be like to honor the daughter of the nation, said a source.
