Bollywood legend Deepika Padukone is now the inaugural Indian actress to be officially named for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, part of the 2026 Motion Pictures class.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce revealed its new class of honorees, with Deepika among international stars like Miley Cyrus, Timothée Chalamet, Demi Moore, Emily Blunt, Rachel McAdams, Rami Malek, and Stanley Tucci.

With Deepika here, it’s a historic day for Indian representation on the global stage.

To name a few of her achievements: a Bollywood career, a Hollywood debut in xXx: Return of Xander Cage, and one of TIME’s 100 most influential people.

She’s stepped on stage at worldwide events, including Cannes, the Met Gala, and FIFA World Cup finals.
