Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Declares Farhan Akhtar’s, “120 Bahadur’ Tax-free

120 Bahadur, starring Farhan Akhtar which is based on the Battle of Rezang La of 1962 Sino-Indian War . Starring in the film are Raashi Khanna, Vivan Bhatena and Ankit Siwach.

The decision was taken by Delhi CM and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav as a mark of respect to valiant soldiers.

The war film 120 Bahadur is a tribute to the extra ordinary courage and sacrifice that the 120 soldiers of Charlie Company , 13 Kumaon Regiment.

Highlights of 120 Bahadur

The film highlights the inspiring leadership of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati whose sacrifice during the war remains a symbol o courage in India’s military history.

As a mark of respect to the valiant soldier who define courage and their patriotic history, Delhi Government granted it tax free status from 28th November 2025.

Farhan Akhtar essays the role of Major Shaitan Singh as he leads the greatest last stands in military history. The film is about the 120 valiant soldiers who held off over 2000 Chinese troops in a historic battle .

The film received praises for the good message and many political figures praised and applauded the film as well. This prompted the Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav to consider the film as a social message and acknowledged the team’s efforts.

Farhan Akhtar is grateful for this decision and has thanked the Government, the Chief Minister and the Samajwadi Party Leader.

120 Bahadur earned 15 crore net in India in the first week and has to touch the box office collection.
