Diljit Dosanjh is a talented artist who can not only sing and dance but act bringing life to characters. His work is commendable not just in Punjabi cinema but also in Bollywood. The Honsla Rakh actor who touched hearts with his performance as Sajjan Singh Rangrool in the film Punjab 1984, is back with another biopic. He will be essaying the lead role in human activist Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra’s biopic. The team recently completed it’s shooting. Reportedly many filmmakers were keen on making this biopic but Kalra’s family was hesitant. It was Diljit and Honey Tehran who finally convinced them.

Sharing his look from the untitled film on his social media page, Diljit wrote, “Karan Karawan Apey Aap 🙏🏽Till Date This has been My Career’s Toughest and Most Challenging Role. Wrapping up with Lots Of Emotions in My Heart 🙏🏽 Gratitude & Respect for @honeytrehan Bhaji 🙏🏽 Sarbat Da Bhalaa.” In the picture, the Shadaa actor can be seen in a grey suit and blue turban.

Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra worked as an activist collecting information on Sikhs who went missing during the Operation Blue Star. He was abducted by police men outside his home in 1995, where he was last seen. All the officers involved in the crime were given life sentences. The makers of the biopic are yet to reveal it’s release date.
