Director Sanjay Gupta Expresses Disappointment Over OTT Platforms

Known for his direction in films like Kaante, “Zinda”, “Shootout at Wadala” and “Kaabil  Director Sanjay Gupta laments over the current state of the Indian film industry which depends largely on OTT Platforms.

The director stated that the rise of digital platforms has caused "the entire system" to collapse.

Gupta has hinted at two of the OTT platforms, which he did not name, which according to him have led to the collapse of the movie industry. He further stated that the industry is now at mercy of these two platforms.

His statements have received mixed reactions from the online audiences.
