Divya Dutta And Swara Bhasker To Share Romantic Chemistry

In honor of the LGBTQIA community, director Faraz Arif Ansari will be making his second film titled ‘Sheer Kurma’, starring acting powerhouses Swara Bhaskar and Divya Dutta. The first was a silent short movie titled Sisak in 2017, and was widely appreciated by viewers, winning 59 international awards at many film festivals. The director said usually bisexual and gay men are more talked about than women. Also there aren’t many film’s that have been made on queer women, thus he got this idea.

 

The movie will also star Badhaai Ho veteran actress Surekha Sikri in an important role. The movie, along with showing the gay relationship between women will also lightly speak about religious influences. The director said many producers and actors previously have had reservations in supporting homosexual, gay and lesbian characters in movies although they care about the LGBTQIA community, which is very hypocritical. Faraz also adds that Swara and Divya are extremely talented actors and when he approached them for this film they never had any doubt about playing the roles he offered. The film will be wrapped by this year end and will release early in 2020.
