Known to be the only Indian show to complete 1000 episodes, Ekta Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is making a comeback on TV. The much loved show has also gained a place in the Limca book of records for the longest running show in Indian Television History. The show stars Smriti Irani, Rohit Roy and Amar Upadhyay and aired its first episode on 3rd July, 2000 on Star Plus. It completed 21 years last year and will be aired on Star Plus from today. 

 

Producer Ekta Kapoor announced the exciting news for fans on social media along with a short promo of the show and wrote, “Is promo ki ek jhalak dekh kar hi saari puraani yaadein tazaa ho gayi. Today, as I look back, I recall every memory, every moment that made this show a most loved one! Usi pyaar ke saath judiye is safar se dobaara. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has aired on Star Plus channel from July 2000 till November 2008. The show started the trend of saas-bahu serials on Indian Television.
