After the critical success of Hindi Medium starring Irfan Khan and Saba Qamar, the makers of the movie have announced its sequel to be set in the US. The original movie shows Irfan Khans Family based in Delhi but will have its sequel showing Irfan’s daughter moving to the US for further studies and hence the new title.
Due to the movie being marketed to more global audience, there was a need to get a new director on board too; therefore Homi Adajania of Cocktail fame has been roped in to direct it. Apart from the Qarib Qarib Singlle actor playing the lead, most of the cast will change, including the actress playing his wife who has not been confirmed as yet.
