Film Jungjuahars Name Changed To Pawankhind

Based on the famous and historical battle at Pawankhind, the upcoming historical Marathi movie will be one worth waiting for. After making period dramas and historically relevant movies like Farzand' and 'Fatteshikast’ that have had a successful run with audiences, are now coming up with another movie that was earlier titled JungJuahar. The makers have however changed its name to Pawankhind itself. The same was announced on their social media page too. 

Pawankhind was earlier slated to release in 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, got pushed to this year. The film will now hit the big screens on 10th June 2021. The film is directed by Digpal Lanjekar, as one of his eight movies on Maratha warrior kind Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The director has also already announced his fourth movie titled ‘Sher Shivraj Hai’.
