Bollywood actress Rani Mukherji, after the success of the first two instalments, is back again in a bold avatar as Shivani Shivaji Roy, the fearless cop in the upcoming film Mardaani 3.  The news has excited her fans as the makers of the film have released her first look in the film. The film is slated for its release in the theatres in 2026.

The Yash Raj Film Mardaani 3 is directed by Abhiraj Minawala, written by Aayush Gupta and Deepak Kingrani, and is produced by Aditya Chopra. In the poster released, Rani Mukherji is seen wearing a black shirt paired with a pair of blue denims and black boots, holding a gun, pointing it at the camera. 


The release of the Mardaani3, planned for its release in 2006, will be on February 27th, 2026 around Holi.  Shivani Shivaji Roy, the fearless, will return on the big screen,  ‘ Good will fight over evil’ as the caption mentioned. Holi marks the triumph of good over evil.  The makers are nailing the sentiments with the film’s release which is also about a violent clash between Shivani’s righteous steps over the threatening forces and reinforcing the theme.



Rani who reprises the role of the bold cop Shivani Shivaji Roy’s character, fights for justice in the film, has revealed that the film is going to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller and will be a deadly, dark and brutal film.

Except for the first cover of the film showcasing the actor Rani Mukherji, which is being released, the plot of the film is kept under wraps.  Mardaani 3 is expected to be one of the most successful solo female-oriented franchises.
