Many film actors such as Suniel Shetty, Atul Kulkarni, and Vijay Deverakonda have urged unity and condemned the incident and vowed to stand by Kashmir.

Though there were immediate cancellations and postponement of film shootings, that has impacted the planning of various film shoots, they are hopeful the film-related activities will resume. Top banners have projects lined up with Kashmir, which have been kept on hold and not cancelled post the terror attack. Pahalgam, being one of the most sought-after destinations for filmmaking, is compared to a tourist spot in Switzerland.
