The only curiosity was that Dipankar would tell the future by reading their palms and charts. Even Mithun Chakraborty would also go to him with his chart. Since Mithun himself was also interested in astrology, the two actors would discuss it for hours during the shooting. Dipankar had read the chart of Mithun's son Mimo, as well.

Why did he suddenly give up astrology?

There is a special reason for this. The actor's desires changed with time. At one time, he felt that astrology was attractive to him. Later, he questioned his choice and embraced science. It is said that astrology is also a science. Despite receiving various titles in astrology, Dipankar feels that there is no 'science' in it.

After studying physics and the solar system, he has become convinced that astrology is baseless. Dolan says, 'Dipankar no longer thinks that a distant planet can have any impact on our lives. He now immerses himself in various science books. He explains everything with logic. A huge library has been built in our house. He reads Science, various books on the Vedas and Puranas day and night.'
