Gangster War For John Abraham And Emraan Hashmi

Sanjay Gupta is all set to direct another gangster drama after a gap of almost six years. His upcoming yet to be titled film will have the star from his last movie Shootout at Wadala and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai actor Emraan Hashmi. The duo will come together for the very first time on the silver screen.

 

The new movie will be based on the Bombay’s transformation into Mumbai, set during the period of 1980’s-90’s. Among the lead actors, John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi, one will play the tough cop and the other a gangster on the run. The film is based on true events and will go on floors by July this year. The team is still scouting for real Mumbai locations to film as well as for the lead actress. The film is slated to release in early 2020. John Abraham will next be seen opposite Divya Khosla Kumar in Satyamev Jayate 2.
