Hichki To Be Shown At Italy’s Giffoni International Children Film Festival

The film Hichki talks about a girl Naina, who is suffering from Tourette syndrome, her struggles in life as an aspiring school teacher and achieving the almost impossible. Actress Rani Mukerji played the lead in the film, which also marked her comeback into films post marriage and a baby. The film gained her rave reviews and appreciation for portraying the character with aplomb and it garnered the film Rs 250 Crores worldwide.

 

The Siddharth P Malhotra directorial, Hichki will now be screened at the 49th Giffoni International Children Film Festival, held in Italy. The film has globally made a name for itself, and also made Indian cinema proud of such a creation. The coveted festival will begin on 19th July and go on till the 27th of July.
