Hunar Gandhi’s Role Axed On Refusing To Play A Mother

The popular Television actress Hunar Gandhi will no longer be a part of the Television series Patiala Babes. The actress said that what she was promised initially turned out to be very diverse and was upset about it. The actress apparently was asked by the makers to play a mother’s role in the later stages of the show, but the actress didn’t want to and thus they took the call to axe her role altogether by sending her off to London in the show’s next episode.

 

Hunar Gandhi, however is happy that she got to be a part of the woman centric show as her character Meeta is shown to be independent and resilient to the outside world. The popular TV actress has also featured in shows like Chhal — Sheh Aur Maat, Sasural Genda Phool and Ek Boond Ishq, among others.
