“I Want To Reach Great Heights”- Soham Chakankar On His Marathi Film Debut

Well known NCP leader and state women’s commission chairperson Rupali Chakankar’s son Soham is all set to enter into the world of films. The young man is all set to make his acting debut in Marathi films with the movie ‘You and Me, Me and You’. It is a romantic film and the shooting for the same has already begun in full gusto. Soham’s role in the film will be that of a sensible, ambitious boy.

 

Speaking of his film debut Soham Chakankar said, “I was given the opportunity to enter the field of acting by our filmmaker Sagar Jain, and first of all I would like to thank director Kapil Saran for the encouragement he gave me. When it came to shooting, my team supported me so much that I never realized I was new to the field. I learned a lot from Kapil Saran’s workshops and the guidance he gave me, and my interest in acting grew. I want to reach great heights in this field and I will work hard for it.”

 

Soham’s mother Rupali clears the air about her part in his debut saying, “First of all, I would like to say that he has full credit for this opportunity given to Soham, I have no part in it. On the contrary, I was surprised to hear his decision. It is really good news for me that no one in our family is in this field yet. Soham is working in a different area. I am very happy to see this. Our best wishes and blessings are with Soham, and we hope that he will make a name for himself in the field he has chosen.”

 

You and Me, Me and You is directed by Kapil Jondhale and produced by Raju Todsam, Rishabh Kothari and Sagar Jain. The lead actress and release date of the film are yet to be revealed.
