In a sharp social media post, Kiran made it clear that he will no longer promote projects unless he is directly involved in them.

Kiran Dutta message was straightforward. He wrote, 'Do not ask me to promote your film. If you cast me in the film, it will be promoted. All the good directors only ask me to promote! From now on, please contact me first, not after the film is made. Call me on set. I will promote it for free if I am somehow associated with the film. Do not contact me after the film is made just to promote it.'

Kiran emphasized that content creators deserve proper compensation if they are not a part of the project. 'If you want to do it, give me money. I will do it, just like I promote other brands,' he said, adding that some of his relationships with directors have suffered because of this issue. 'I like their work, but I will not let myself be used. That is clear.'
