Perfectly timed for Friendship Week, Bobby Beauty Parlour set to premiere on the Oh Short Flips You Tube Channel on August 6th at midnight. The special creative collaboration is by celebrated filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and Anurag Kashyap who have reunited as a special creative team.

   

Directed by Shashwat Dwivedi, Bobby Beauty Parlour follows childhood best friend Eelu and Manu, set inside a modest neighbourhood beauty parlour. The film has beautifully captured the innocence, warmth and bittersweet emotions of adolescence through simple yet memorable moments that are shared between the two inseparable friends. 


The movie marks a reunion between Imtiaz Ali and Anurag Kashyap whose friendship dates back to their university days in Delhi. The Oh Short flips platform is produced by Ranjan Singh and Janhavi Asthana who is the co-writer for the screenplay and has served also as the cinematographer for the film.

The film features Parul Rana, Saksham Raj, Adrija Sinha, Preeti Kochar in pivotal roles. The much-acclaimed short film Bobby Beauty Parlour has already travelled to several international film festivals before its digital release which is a promise to be a touching tale and will definitely give the audience a cinematic experience that celebrates bonds of friendship which one never leaves behind as we move forward in life.
