It’s a wrap for Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Thappad’

After their film Mulk was critically acclaimed and won many hearts, director Anubhav Sinha and actress Taapsee Pannu are all set once again to showcase their magic their upcoming Bollywood film ‘Thappad’. The film also stars Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi, Manav Kaul and Ram Kapoor, among others. The film has finally completed its shooting and is based on gender equality through the story woven around a husband and wife.

 

Actress Dia Mirza shared a picture of the entire film’s team on her social media account. The film has been shot extensively in Lucknow. Director Anubhav’s previous films like Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai, Mulk and Article 15 have also been shot in Lucknow. Thappad is all set to hit the big screens on Women’s Day in 2020.
