Jackie Shroff has shared a heartfelt experience about joining the cast of Tanvi: The Great, an inspiring film directed by Anupam Kher.

At the film's trailer launch, Shroff recounted the emotional moment when Kher first reached out to him.

I was teary-eyed when Anupam called and played me a song from the film. I don’t usually cry, but that moment moved me deeply, he said.

Tanvi: The Great tells the story of an autistic girl with dreams of joining the army. Jackie Shroff plays Brigadier Joshi, joining a stellar lineup including Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Karan Tacker, Iain Glen, Pallavi Joshi, and Arvind Swamy. The film was recently screened at the New York Indian Film Festival, attended by Hollywood legend Robert De Niro.

With a powerful story and soul-stirring performances, Tanvi: The Great is set to release in theatres on July 18, promising to be a moving cinematic experience.
