Jammu And Kashmir All Set To Organise It’s First National Film Festival In June

The beauty of Jammu and Kashmir has been the subject and location of countless films and projects in the past and present. The beautiful scenic state is now organising it’s first ever National film Festival to be held from June 15th- 20th. It will be managed by Jammu and Kashmir Film Development Council in collaboration with National Film Development Corporation and Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in Srinagar. 

 

The spokesperson for the festival said that the event is organised to promote diverse films, music, art and the creative ecosystem of the state. Indian filmmakers and music producers and various artists can submit their original content; be it web series, Films or music videos. They can win awards in categories such as feature films, non-feature films and music videos. Over 40 awards will be given during the festival. Winners will receive a cash prize, certificate, trophy as well as a medal for the same.
