JioStar has announced the launch of six regional editions across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bangla from 2026 September.
The JioStar television network will bring together an impressive line up of hosts including Salman Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nagarjuna, Kichcha Sudeepa, Mohanlal while the franchise is joined for the first time this year by Sourav Ganguly.
To commemorate the remarkable journey of bringing six regional languages in India’s Big Boss Reality Challenge, JioStar unveiled a coffee table book chronicle on the franchise’s evolution, its cultural influence and the audience engagement and the marketing success over past two decades.

The book highlights the Bigg Boss’s phenomenal growth revealing the 2025 editions that reached across 500 million viewers. It generated more than 438 billion viewing minutes, recording an impressive 47% year on increase in just the audience engagement.
JioHotStar, over the last two decades has had 9.32 billion votes, 43 million live chats, 1.7 billion social interactions and 30 million user-generated memes showcased making it one of the top unmatched fan participation programs.
Beyond the entertainment, Bigg Boss has emerged as a marketing powerhouse which has attracted over 625 advertisers across 46 categories. The brands have had significant gains in the brand awareness, innovative integration and purchase intent with its unique activations.
