John Abraham Opens Up On Reuniting With Akshay Kumar

When we talk about comedy, John Abraham and Akshay Kumar are two of the masters of it. They have collaboratively delivered various humorous films such as Desi Boyz, Housefull 2, and Garam Masala, which had received a huge appreciation from the audiences.

In a formal conversation with PTI, John Abraham said, 'I'm exploring and highly rooting to do some humorous roles, as you must always bring a smile to the audience's face in a meaningful way. For example, Garam Masala was a film that was very special to me, and it was the one that made a difference. So, I'm currently wandering out for scripts and want to do something funny.'

Further, when he was asked about his reunion with Akshay Kumar, he said, 'We are having conversations; Akshay and I are actively in talks with each other, and it will be a big surprise if anything such happens in the future, and I'm certainly looking out for an excuse to work with him.'

However, the duo of John and Akshay was previously seen in the film Garam Masala, which was released in 2005 and turned out to be one of the best comedy films and was directed by Priyadarshan. Its plot mainly revolved around the lives of two rascals, Mac and Sam, who both find themselves entangled in a web of lies that they tell to their girlfriends in order to impress another girl.

Currently, John Abraham is winning the audiences' hearts with his recent release 'The Diplomat,' which is a story about the tensions between the two arch-rivals, India and Pakistan.
