Karan Johar on the lookout for a perfect location for Takht

Filmmaker Karan Johar is known to have bigger than life sets with every film that he directs. This time for his multi-starrer magnum Opus Takht, the Student Of The Year 2 filmmaker is in The deserts of Rajasthan for the recce of his film. The incredible ensemble cast includes Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor. Karan shared several pictures on his social media account and in one wrote, “Takht recce begins!”, in another, he wrote, “Rajathandiaries.”

The story of Takht is based on the Mughal era and will see Gully Boy actor Ranveer Singh play the role of Shah Jahan and Vicky play the role of Aurangzeb. The big budget film will most likely go on floors in February and hit the big Screens in 2021.
