She is in Zee Theatre's play 'Kaalchakra,' which talks about conflicts between different generations.

Gulki Joshi first appeared on Zee TV's show 'Phir Subah Hogi' in 2023 and has become one of the popular stars on TV and in theatre. Whether it's Zee Theatre's 'Purush' with Ashutosh Rana or the social drama 'Kaalchakra,' she has shown her talent as an actor.

In 'Kaalchakra,' she plays a crucial role where a couple, unhappy with how their children treat them, puts an ad in the newspaper asking if someone wants to adopt them. Surprisingly, they get a response.

The play, written by playwright Jaywant Dalvi, who also dealt with a similar theme in 'Sandhya Chhaya,' depicts various issues, according to Gulki. She emphasises the importance of finding a middle ground where adult children can have their own lives without abandoning their parents.

She uses her own family as an example, mentioning that they talk about everything, even when they're far apart, a simple "I miss you" text is enough.

Talking about her love for theatre, Gulki Joshi says, "I think theatre is tougher than other forms of performing arts because you only get one chance. There are no retakes, and you need to make sure your voice and expressions reach even the person in the last row. It's more demanding, but the instant reaction from the live audience is addictive, like a drug.”
