Year 1975. Legendary singer Kishore Kumar was banned by AIR (All India Radio). Kapil Sharma asked Amit Kumar to know the truth about this incident. Sitting on 'The Kapil Sharma Show', Amit Kumar said, 'When Emergency was declared in 197playback singer5, my father was at the top as a playback singer. He was ruling. At that time, the call came from Delhi. Someone from the ministry called. As soon as my father picked up the phone, he said - Kishoreda, we are sending you a plane ticket, you come the day after tomorrow. Hearing this, my father asked - Who are you talking about? He introduced himself. My father said, Okay, you send a representative. With whom will I talk and go? I cannot come like this. Even if God asks me to come, I will not go.'


According to Amit, the officer got angry and said, 'You are talking like this, we will ban you.' Dad said, 'Okay, do it. I am already very tired. I have money. I want to travel now.' Then Kishore Kumar hung up the phone. He was banned within 2 hours.
