Every brave soldier of the ruler Shivaji Maharaj sacrificed everything for the sake of independence. They devoted their entire lives to the only deity they considered worthy, and that deity was none other than Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. While learning about the valor of the brave warriors of Hindavi Swarajya, glimpses of their personal lives are beautifully portrayed in films. One such shining gem in the grand chronicles of Shivaji's epic is the brave Subedar Tanaji Malusare. His emotional and familial life, along with his heroic exploits, is vividly depicted in the written and directed film 'Subhedar' by Digpal Lanjekar, which will be released on August 25th for the audience's viewing.

Narveer Tanhaji Malusare, who sacrificed his life with bravery and unwavering loyalty for the cause of Swarajya, never saw his personal life separated from his service to the kingdom. While preparing for his own son's wedding, after the conquest of Singhgad, he charged forward like a fearless lion and did not step back until he fulfilled his promise. He entrusted his invaluable body to the feet of his beloved deity, Swami Nishthepayi Shivprabhu, with the thundering declaration, "First the fort, then my opinion." His entire family gave him much-needed support, acknowledging the true value of this valiant warrior who thundered with this sentiment. This emotional aspect will be witnessed in the film 'Subhedara,' where we will see a glimpse of all the Malusare family members involved in the preparations for his son's wedding on the poster.

The complete Malusare family can be seen in the film. Among them, we can witness Shelaramaama, who always stood firmly with his mother, wife, brother, sister-in-law, son, and ever-supportive Shelaaramaama. Ajay Purkar plays the role of Subhedara, portraying his character with unwavering determination, while Smrita Shevale brings alive the character of his wife, Savitribai, with grace. Abhijit Shwetachandra powerfully portrays Suryaji Malusare, who is the foundation of the Malusare family, and Shivani Rangole plays his wife, Yashodabai, with sincerity. Umma Sardeshmukh portrays the role of Tanhaji's mother, Parvatibai, and Arnav Pendharkar portrays his son, Raibachya.
