It's been five years since this masterpiece was announced and since then director duo Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar's live-action trilogy 'Ramayana' has been one of the most talked about films. The craze about the epic film is huge among fans and now Madhu Mantena who announced the film in 2017 along with Allu Aravind and Namit Malhotra has teased fans with a new update. Madhu had earlier asserted that the film serves a purpose for all those associated with it and aims to tell the world Ramayana in all its glory.

He has revealed that the script of the film will be completed in the next few months after detailed research and groundwork on the script and story over the past few years. If everything goes according to plan, the camera will roll for the film from September 23, and Madhu, who has previously backed critically acclaimed films like 'Ghajini', 'Udta Punjab' and 'Super 30', will start shooting.
