Without a manager or a mentor, she could not understand who the producer or director was meeting. If I said anything, people might judge me in the industry.” Megha also shared that she had faced two instances of the casting couch. Nobody helped her; instead, they wanted to take advantage of her. She did not know who to trust. It was a tough time for her.

According to the actress, staying silent seemed to be the only way to protect herself. “I thought if this matter got out, I would be defamed. I didn’t have the courage to react then,” said Megha. “Today, I have understood that it is very important to stand up for yourself in such situations,'' Megha advised young actresses in the interview.
