Marathi Film ‘Paani’ Screened At New York Film Festival

After numerous international achievements made by the Marathi movie industry, another on to add to the glory is Adinath Kothare’s film Paani. The movie was recently screened at the New York Film Festival with a fantastic response, where Adinath also won ‘The Best Actor Award’.

 

Paani is based on the water shortage in the village of Nagderwadi and how they manage to come out of this situation and thus even help with supplying water to the surrounding villages.
