Miss Universe Karnataka 2025 Winner  Meets CM Siddaramaiah Ahead Of National Pageant

27-year-old lawyer-turned-model Vaamshi Uday from Chikkamagaluru, who was crowned Miss Universe Karnataka 2025 in May, met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Delhi on July 10, ahead of her participation in the Miss Universe India 2025 pageant scheduled for August in Jaipur.


Vaamshi will represent Karnataka at the national level and received the CM’s warm wishes and encouragement for the competition on August 17.


Karnataka Crown Meets Political Power Before Miss Universe India


The pageant’s grand finale was held on May 16 at Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, marking Karnataka’s first official Miss Universe state-level competition. Contestants from across the state took part in rounds such as ethnic wear, resort wear, and evening gown. Vaamshi Uday emerged victorious, while Asmita Chowdhury and Lekana Hegde were named first and second runners-up, respectively.

The event celebrated tradition, fashion, and woman empowerment, judged by a distinguished panel including Nikhil Anand (National Director Miss Universe India), Rhea Singha (Miss Universe India 2024), Amjad Khan, and Avani Kakekochhi (Miss Universe Karnataka 2024).
