After locating Ravi Pujari in Senegal, South Africa, he was arrested and extradited.

Talking about the purpose of writing the book, the former DGP said, "A Don's Nemesis is about the journey of bringing Ravi Pujari before the Indian law." This book was launched by Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar in a recent program in Mumbai.

Umesh Shukla said that A Don's Nemesis traces the intense journey of Dr. Pandey and is a story that every Indian should know. This is an inspiring story and shows the dedication of our Indian Police Force towards justice. It has not been revealed yet whether a series or a film will be made on A Don's Nemesis. Producer Rakesh Dang is supporting this project. Right now it is in the initial stage. It will be produced by Umesh Shukla's production house Merry Go Round and Sita Films. Umesh Shukla has directed Oh My God, All Is Well and 102 Not Out.
