Actor-filmmaker Prasad Oak and Pravin Tarde are two popular names in Marathi cinema. Their contribution to films have been undisputedly incredible. The two have now joined forces for the upcoming film Dharmaveer. The film is a biopic of late shiv sena party leader Anand Chintamani Dighe. At the recently held music launch of the film, lead actor Prasad Oak came in the get up of Dighe and surprised everyone.

Maharashtra minister Eknath Shinde who was a close friend of Dighe got emotional seeing Prasad’s look as the late minister. He touched his feet and congratulated him. Eknath said, “Anand Dighe was a mainstay of Shiv Sena. Our main objective was to spread his ideas all over the world through films. Mangesh Desai has completed my mission. Pravin Tarde is now working to take this film forward. This is the main objective of all of us. Anand Dighe was always invigorating. He never hurt anyone. I urge all the audience to watch this movie.”

Dharmaveer is directed by Pravin Tarde and is produced by Mangesh Desai. It will hit cinemas on 13th May 2022.
