Pravin Tarde all set to begin filming ‘Sarsenapati Hambirrao’

After mesmerizing his fans with his last Marathi film Mulshi Pattern, actor-director Pravin Tarde is all set to bring a period drama to the big screen. The film titled ‘Sarsenapati Hambirrao’ is based on the film and works of Chhtrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s military commander Hansaji Mohite. The film’s title is the name given to him by the Maratha emperor. Shoot of the film began a long time ago, but the final scenes were stalled due to the lockdown. They plan to begin filming soon as per the new government guidelines ofcourse.

 

‘Sarsenapati Hambirrao’ will be produced under the production house Shivneri Foundation owned by Sandip Mohite, who is apparently the descendant of Hansaji Mohite. The film will also star Shruti Marathe and Gashmeer Mahajani in prominent roles.
