Actor- filmmaker Pravin Tarde is all set to bring the legend of unsung warrior Hansaji Mohite to his audiences with the upcoming film Sarsenapati Hambirrao. The period drama has been one of the most awaited Marathi films of the year. Makers of the film have now finally revealed it’s release date. Announcing the film’s release date and sharing a new poster of the film on his social media page, Pravin wrote, “आता आपण फक्तं दिवस मोजायचे .. ७५ राहिले ..”

 

For the unversed, warrior Hansaji Mohite was the military commander of the Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The latter had conferred the title of Hambirrao on him. Sarsenapati Hambirrao stars Pravin Tarde, Shruti Marathe, Gashmeer Mahajani and Raqesh Bapat in crucial roles. The film will hit the big screens on 27th May 2022.
